Newport IW showed plenty of character to come from two goals behind and earn a 2–2 draw away at Ash United.

The hosts took a 2–0 lead, but Macauley Watterson pulled one back for Newport on the stroke of half-time.

The comeback was completed after the break when Joe Butcher found the net to make it 2–2.

Newport will be pleased to have battled back from a difficult position and returned home with a well-earned point.
